Hardware » Why is my GTX 980 lagging on games?

hii,
i decided to make this form because I cannot think of why my computer is lagging, and I'm hoping you can help. My friends from discord and other clients have attempted to help me, but I'm getting no clear answer. My computer seems to be running low FPS on a game it once ran high on. It seems to be in a short amount of time my computer went from running games like League of Legends on 200 FPS to around 50-100 FPS I don't understand why this is happening for my parts is pretty good. I don't have much experience in computer, just the basic, any help will be appreciated
